“GARDEN LIGHT”

I love gardening, growing, and surrounding myself with plants. I’m always plucking and saving flowers and foliage, their bodies pressed between the pages of novels scattered throughout my home. Sometimes, I open the spine of a cookbook, or a bundle of Mary Oliver poems, and like the letting go of autumn, forgotten orchids and ferns tumble out, their preserved beauty asking to be remembered.

So, that’s what I do. I honor and remember them.

CYANOTYPE

Also known as sun printing, cyanotype is one of the oldest forms of photography. There is interplay and relationship between light and shadow, and striking the balance between the two reveals something truly soulful and beautiful. The end result is a dreamy Prussian blueprint of a moment frozen in time.
